About Me

I’m Amy, the maker behind Amy Elsie Jewellery, based in the south of Cornwall, UK. I grew up surrounded by the sea and the woods, and those landscapes still shape everything I create. Cornwall’s ever-changing coastline, quiet woodland paths, and its deep sense of mystery have always felt like home to me, and they continue to inspire my work every day.
I’ve always been creative, and jewellery making sits alongside a whole collection of other passions. When I’m not in my studio, you’ll often find me searching for sea glass along the shoreline, painting with watercolours, wandering through the woods, scrapbooking or journaling, experimenting with pottery, going on adventures in my van, sea swimming, or playing with my cat Trixie! All of these small moments feed into my designs in one way or another.
My pieces are inspired by the textures and shapes of the Cornish coast — weather-worn rocks, tidal pools, hidden paths, and the mystical energy that seems to linger in the air here. There’s a quiet magic to this place, and I try to capture that feeling in jewellery that feels timeless, personal, and connected to nature.
Sustainability is at the heart of what I do. I’m passionate about working thoughtfully and responsibly, using recycled materials wherever possible and creating pieces that are designed to last. Each piece is slow made, with care and intention, rather than rushed or mass produced.
Most days in the studio involve a mix of making, experimenting, and listening to true crime podcasts while I work. Every piece I create is made by hand, with attention to detail and a love for the process.
